Legends

Here is a collection of some of the legends and lore of Llagostera. Set in the old quarter, the stories allow us to share part of our town’s historical and cultural heritage and to appreciate our rich tradition.

We invite you to share a good walk around spots enclosed by walls, landmark buildings and streets rich with a special atmosphere.

You will not walk alone, though. If you follow the route marked on the map, you will find the places where the stories in this booklet took place and discover the secrets of the town and its inhabitants. Feliu and Seculina will guide you through time and space and relive these -sometimes true and sometimes fictitious- stories preserved by oral tradition until local authors wrote them down in the twentieth century.

Enjoy the walk and the stories!
